Life in a Blender is an organization comprised of a group of dedicated Biological Moms and Step Moms of blended families. The 'BlenderMoms' are dedicated to sharing their experiences within their blended family in an effort to enlighten, encourage, and educate fellow members. The Blender originated as a private forum after the members got to know one another on a different public forum. The BlenderMom team built and opened the forum "Life in a Blender.... Together for the Kids", in October, 2002. After months of sharing our pain, frustration, happiness and tears, we chose to venture out of our safe haven and share our lives with the World. The Life in a Blender Forum is a public forum. We at Life in a Blender have helped one another to remain focused on the best interests of our children, to empathize with the other side. We discuss strategies for putting the kids first and for dealing with our Kids other parents in the most amicable manner. We strive for a co-existence built on cooperation, education and respect for each other. With hard work and dedication, we hope to reach out to others who share our interests in the blended family dynamics. www.lifeinablender.org was opened to the public on February 25, 2003. Thanks for your interest in our site! None of our members are professional counselors, etc. We are Divorced Moms and Step Moms striving for peace. |
